  1. not likely, all the evidence points to one cradle, migration afterwards and civilization growth at different rates might suggest multiple locations.

  2. Not only could there, but there are multiple places where cities were founded that had no contact with eaceh other (thus developed independandtly).

The Mayans, the cities of Mesopotamia (Jericho, Catal Huyuk that predate Uruk and Egyptians); the INdus valley in India and along the rivers in China to name a few.

But civilization is rather broad; the Aboriginal tribes of Australia and Africa think they are civilized.

  3. Oh, h***s yes.  The Middle East gets that distinction because it was one of the places that agriculture developed, and the cultures that resulted had a particularly large impact on western civilization.  Agriculture developed in other areas, too, like South and central America, China, and a place or two in Africa.

The Agricultural Revolution (also known as the Neolithic Revolution) was essential for the rise of large civilizations, because it is only with a big concentration of food that you're able to have a large stationary population with specialists that can develop technology and architecture.  There are very few places in the world with the natural resources necessary to allow a hunter/gatherer group to stay put.  One of these is up in the northwestern US, southwestern Canada, where there are huge salmon runs.  Without that sort of bounty, agriculture is necessary.

  4. There is a bassinet of civilization and a crib of civilization

  5. Yess.

      There's: Mesoamerica ( Olmec, Mixtec, Maya, Toltec,Aztec)

Andes (Norte Chico, Chavin, Tiwanku, Wari, Inka)

                     Egypt

Indus River Valley ( Indus Civilization)

                     Yangtze River ( Chinese civilizations)

other possible places could be the Niger River/Sahel zone, Mississippi river valley, Tahiti or Tonga for Polynesian culture

  6. Yes, and most scholars believe that this is in fact what happened.  The cities in Mesopotamia were the first discovered, but it now appears that there were others at least as old in Central Asia, China, Mexico and possibly other places.

  7. thye had the bible, so language and polital thogts center for ther, but we would be the common wealth of civilization,,.  hundreds of years from now,. when people are done exploring space

  8. Yes absolutely.  It is not necessary to build buildings of stone to have a high civilization.  Many suspect civilizations built dwellings of what ever material was available in their area.  Buildings of wood, though substantial in their time, would not be likely to survive 1000s of years.  Climate plays a major role in what clues we uncover about prehistory.  Most anthropologists suspect several major civilizations are now covered by water, due to rising sea levels after the last Ice Age.  The Black Sea area is thought to be a major source of artifacts... if we can find a way to reach & identify them.

  9. Yes why not as we differ in many ways looks ,statue etc means that we must have come from different cradles .as if we all come from the one then should we not all be the same the only thing is our human shape,

  10. Yes, Armenia is considered a 'Cradle of Civilization' along with ancient Mesopotamia, Greece, Egypt, Turkey, ancient China, Kenya and the mountains occupied by indigenous people through Central and South America.
