I've been having these really hurtful pains for the past 30 minutes , and they are on and off. I haven't started timing them to see if they are contractions. They probably last about 30 seconds. And maybe come every 10 minutes or so. I'm not exactly sure, cause like I said, I haven't been timing them. All I know is they hurt realllllly bad. I went to the doctors earlier this week, and he told me that the baby was dropped, but not all the way. I'm wondering if these really bad pains are the pains of the baby dropping. I don't know how to describe where the pain is. I'm just wondering if this is caused by the baby dropping, or if its something else and if you have experienced it. I mean it hurts when I get it, and that might be because I'm usually standing up when they come, but they hurt.

  1. You might be in very early labor. I would start timing them. How far along are you?

  2. When they come does your stomach get rock hard?  I would start timing them.

  3. Contractions pain could be compared to pain that some women experience  before  periods should start and you can feel contractions coming even if you are sitting or laying. And as for the baby dropping it usually happens when you are standing or walking and this pain is not continuous, that's what i experienced with my 2 children.
