  1. Once you leave the Air Force, your experience and flight hours will transfer to meet the hiring requirements of the airline, but then you'll need to be trained and certified in the type of aircraft the airline wants you to fly.  There is no automatic transfer from military to civilian flying.  You have to train and be tested just like any other applicant.

  2. No, you won't be able to just transfer over.  As an air force pilot you have ratings for multi-engine, night flight, instrument flying, etc., but you are not trained for a particular type/model plane.  The company will require the pilot to become certified on a particular model plane.

  3. Yes, is a very interesting idea.

  4. Yes.

  5. Like was said before, you can't "transfer" but the experience will certainly help the resume.

  6. A HAPPY NINJA COULD

happy ninjas will take over the world and make everyone eat baby carrots

  7. maybe. get in touch with the airline to see how many hours you have to fly before becoming a pilot see if they will accept you.
