Question:

Could this be a BLOOD disease?

I asked this already, but did not receive the information that I was looking for.

Lately I've been bruising easily, and most of the time, the bruises only last a minute or two. A lot of the time, they aren't of a purple color, but a bright tomato red, and splotchy-looking. They feel just like bruises though, sometimes even a little more painful. Also, a lot of my skin is quite tender and feels bruised already, when it isn't.

What could cause this?

Instead of a hickey does your blood just come through your skin? If so It is an actual blood disease... I forget the name... But it is very serious.

People who bruise easily may have blood clotting problems and have a tendency to bleed easily as well. If you notice that you are bruising or bleeding easily, notify your health care provider of potential bleeding problems.

Symptoms Of Bruising, Hematoma or Other Bleeding Problems:

You may have tiny RED DOTS on your skin, called petechiae (pe- TEEK- ee- ay). These are commonly found on your lower legs. This is a sign of low blood platelets.

For many individuals, frequent, unexplained bruising or nosebleeds are the first sign of a bleeding disorder.

If you have a bleeding disorder, you should avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drugs, as well as aspirin, because these drugs may interfere with blood platelets, accentuate bleeding problems.

Do not take aspirin or products containing aspirin unless your health care provider permits .

Other differential diagnoses : with a tendency to bruise easily are  Hemophilia, thrombocythemia, rare genetic Von Willebrand disease, and  Polycythemia Vera.
