Question:

Could this be an infection or extreme fatigue?

Yesterday I developed a bad headache early in the day that seemed to ease off into the night. However this morning I found myself extremely tired to the point that doing simple tasks, even typing feels like a huge effort. When I'm lying down I find It difficult to do anything including talking, yet once I am standing It becomes easier. If anyone has thoughts on what this could be I would appreciate your advice.

Thank you

  1. Hello. This could be a number of things.

It may mean that you are close to period time. It could mean that although you're eating healthily, you need more iron, B6 and B12 vitamins. You could be coming down with something. It could be Epstein-Barr virus. If you're on medication/ herbal supplements, it could mean that something you're taking is interfering with your body's ability to use iron. If you have noticed anything different about your heart-beat, it could be a heart issue- plenty of heart issues are benign (harmless), so please don't get upset.

You may also be exhausted from exercising 5 - 6 times a week. You may need more sleep.

The usual suspect is viral. You may be coming down with something.

I'm sure there's an answer, and you're getting closer to working out what it is. I wish you a full recovery soon.
