Could this be an insect bite/sting?

I have a very tiny red dot on my neck that is barely noticeable. Last night I began feeling a lot of pain in my neck and numbness and general soreness down my shoulder and up to my jaw. The entire area feels swollen a day later and turning my head is difficult. What is worst is the burning stinging around the tiny dot. Could this be a sting/bite? It seems to me that if it was it would look more noticeable and would have stopped hurting so much.. Help!

I think it might be but would I would do is go see a doctor obviously.

Well i actually would go to a doctor ASAP. Like or even the emergency room. Have a lot of pain and numbness isn't good. If the bite has a red ring around it it could be limes disease [[sorry dont kno how to spell it]]
