I have a miscarriage about 5 weeks ago and the bleeding is lighter now but it hasnt stopped since. My follow up appointment is tomorrow but the past week, i have felt horrible. Im exhausted all the time, and although im on my anti-depressants, i still have no desire to go out and do anything. I have constant headaches and i always feel dizzy. I am not trying to sound gross but i think that with all the blood loss i have become anemic because i know my CBC was low before any of this ever happened. Im just confused about why i feel so crappy.

  1. Your body has gone through, and is still going through a lot.  Anemia could be one answer.  However, there are several other possibilities - including your body just hasn't had enough time to recuperate.  I would strongly urge you to consult your doctor.  Your doctor would have the most in-depth information as to your current condition, recent medical problems and medical history.  This personal information combined with their medical expertise would offer you the best answers.

I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you feel better soon!

  2. You are probably suffering some depression after your loss, which would be normal. That can cause low energy, and various physical ailments. It would also be quite possible that you are now anemic after all the blood loss. Have your Dr check your hemoglobin.
