Question:

Could this be implantation cramping?

Today it's 4 days past ovulation for me, and I've been cramping since noon till almost midnight now. It's milder than normal period cramps. What's the possibility of this being implantation cramps?

I've never cramped like this so early in my cycle days before. If I get cramps, it's usually on the day my period arrives.

  1. Could be. Cramping and spotting pink or brown can be a sign of pregnancy. Your body will begin to give you many signs if you are pregnant. Pregnancy test 7 days after a missed or short period for the most accuracy. Best wishes, G

  2. It would seem more like ovulation cramping than anything else; it would be way too early for implantation cramping or bleeding, as this usually occurs around the same time you would expect your normal menstrual period to arrive, which is why pregnancy sometimes goes unnoticed for the first month because they confuse implantation bleeding with menstrual bleeding (and cramping).

Don't despair, though; just wait and see what happens with your period ;) Good luck & tons of baby dust!!

  3. I'm sort of in the same boat as you, except I'm 12 dpo.  At around 8 dpo, I had a strong "pain" in my lower left abdomen and it lasted all day.  But then it went away and when I did experience it, it was almost like a cross between a sting and a pulled muscle.  Hard to explain.  No more cramping and never, ever cramp before my period is due (always cramp the day of though).  My b*****s are seeming fuller and definitely more tender, which is also something that doesn't happen to me until I get my period (which is also very regular and I'm due to start Aug. 2).  I tried testing and so far, a negative.  Mine could be an ovarian cyst (trying to rule out possibilities) so I'm going in for a checkup in a couple of days.  I think everyone's body is different and some women are more sensitive than others so while it's rare, it could be implantation.  The best of luck to you!

    God bless!
