When the Delaware senator began contemplating his own 2008 presidential run, he initially was helped by Chicago lawyer Joseph Cari Jr., who also served as Biden’s Midwest field director in his failed 1988 bid for president.

In 2005, Cari admitted to taking part in an $850,000 kickback scheme that prosecutors say was part of a larger political fund-raising operation for Gov. Blagojevich

Wow, very interesting. Politics does make strange bed fellows. There is another connection. Larry Sinclair who has made accusations against Obama, was arrested in Washington DC after making a speech about the allegations at the press club, and taken to Delaware where he was incarcerated for 5 days. Bidens son, Beau, who is an elected official in Delaware had something to do with the arrest of Sinclair. My, these people live shady lives.

He needs to WIN is why.  Plus he needs to win on his own merit, not because he picked HILLARY for VP...which I'm sure he would have done. (oh and he CANT win on his own...the US is too biased and simply lacks the common sense) so therefore he needs clout to win the election and unity is the confidence builder the public needs so they are going after all the fence sitters at this point, calling in the calvary and reminding everyone of the great accomplishments of the past and they know how to use intelligence and wit to play the flute and lure in all the garden snakes.  (But better they than McCain THAT is for sure!!)

It's all about appearances.

You MUST know that.  The rest of the world can see it and the US is the most judgmental of all (which is why you need 6 months to even GET through the process!!!!)
