my parents have an older moniter so its no like windows xp. if i were to install windows live messanger could this cause a virus since its an older moniter?

If your computer has the specification to run it it will work fine, and providing you download it from the official site. No you wont get a virus lol.

no, a moniter is just a display device, it cannot give your computer anything.

yes because windows live is a malware (some might get this other will argue about it, but it is true look at all the ADS live has). And no monitors don't get viruses, unless you sneeze on them. (I was referring to physical viruses not computer)

try comp next, no, monitor is what you see out of, has no virus, your tower or hard drive though, could have them.

Positively not.i'm useing a 22 inch Diamondtron that i bought in the year 2000 i wont part with it. I am useing windows Vista because the monitor is good for one thing visability.
