Could this cause damage to a camera?

After charging the batteries they are hot, could it be dangerous to use batteries that are hot?

Let it cool off first.

I don't think it's gonna damage the camera

but the battery may leak.

They are hot because the work on chemical reaction. After they are charged, let them sit in the charger to cool down so the chemical reaction is complete then install them.
