Could this mean I'm getting crazy or is it probably just my eye sight

Question

I really don't want to be mental, and I don't think I am, but I'm still not sure. Anyway, there was a firework that went off in the air, so that kind if scared me, but then I swore I saw like a swoosh(don't even know if that's a word) of smoke on the ground coming at me. I started screaming, and people were laughing because they thought I was scared of the firework, but I said that I thought I saw tons of smoke. Also, the other day in my room, I saw something like smoke again but it was gone really fast. I don't think I've ever heard voices, except for once, when I heard someone say my name telling me to go to bed, but no one was there. I know that for a fact. I've had times where I've heard a sound and it sounded like something else, but I think that could happen to anyone. This freaked me out because it sounded so clear and real. Plus there was no other sounds. Sometimes i think I see people from the corner of my eye or really quickly if I look in a direction, but I can imagine that happens to many other people. That's why I think it could just be my senses.

All this stuff doesn't actually happen often.

This happens to me too sometimes...not so much the voice, but I will hear my cell phone going off. Or just random bangs or beeps that noone else hears.

As far as seeing things out of the corner of your eyes...that happens to everyone. We all actually have this small blind spot on our eyes and our brain automatically makes up for it but filling it in with what it THINKS should be there. So occasionally it gets it wrong and you could see things that arent really there, or not see something that is supposed to be there.

Now, I dont know for sure that this is what is happening to you, and you may want to get your eyes checked by an optometrist...but it may be nothing.

Most of the stuff you mentioned happens to everyone.

Ie: hearing someone call your name when no one is there.

That has  happened to me tons of times.

As for the seeing smoke that isn't there, could be something with your eyes ( maybe?) . I dont think your crazy.

sounds to me that you might have a spirit (ghost), this is common and happens all the time. I dont think you are crazy.

well, one way to see if it is your eyesight would be to get your eyesight checked.

After a beloved cat died, I heard a meow a time or two in the next few weeks.  We expect to see or hear something and so we do.  Sometimes our imagination creates things and maybe it is because you are just very imaginative.  Especially if you are an adolescent because your maturing mind is questioning anything that isn't "normal" but you still have so many changes going on in your physiology it's hard to keep up.
