Could u have and infection from the procedure that you had done a year and half ago. can anyone help?

i was meaning a abortion procedure, c my gf had one done now she has an infection over a year later

  1. I would think an uterine infection would show a lot sooner then a year later.  It could be from a lot of different things, she needs to see her doctor/gyn to determine what the infection is.  


  2. It is possible if the procedure wasn't done right or without the right type of sterilizing.

    Another thing that may be happening is that (depending if you got cut and sewn together again) the stitchings may have had a small opening that could let bacteria get through and cause an infection.

    Why it took so long i don't peticularly know , but I just guessing at what could have happened.

    Another thing is that if the operation was on your lungs and there were stitching's (very rare) on them, then you might have made a very small tear possibly through strenuous activity.

  4.   It is very unlikely,an infection would show up in a very short time.

      If you have a problem see your GP you have another problem,likely.
