  1. I don't think the piping on a central vac. system is large enough to carry the volume of air needed to heat or cool rooms.

Heating and cooling ducts are usually a minimum of 5 inches in diameter, and most are 7 1/2 inch in diameter while vac. ducts are usually close to the size of the vac. hose.

  2. I don't think this would be a good idea. You'll need a larger and more powerful fan to distribute the heat, if it was from one room through a wall but, even then, the heat may damage the liner or pipe on the vac, they're not made for this.

Metal flexible pipe, that's not cheap but it would work or, dryer pipe, the aluminum type may work. But, you'll have to figure out a way to get the heat to the other rooms with the small fan, an in line fan maybe with a separate thermostat hook up. Now we're talking more money.

  3. If you want to watch your home burn down due to the heat from the pellet stove, give it a try.

When your homeowners insurance refuses to pay due to the improper and illegal hook up you will then have a real problem.

  4. Please, do not even think about it. Pellet stoves put out a great amount oh heat, you could be putting you and your family at risk. Use the right material to match your system.
