For nightlife, try either the Trastevere area, San Lorenzo (students) or Testaccio (night clubs)

Well.....the Coliseum used to be the place to go at one time. Lions and bears eating Christians, criminals and prisoners from Roman campaigns.

I think it's outlawed now but in the days before cable the Romans loved it!

go to "Campo de' Fiori" on the weekends or "Testaccio" - that's where all the clubs are basically...or in the area near the Pantheon.
