Could vince have used wcw vs wwf storyline better? the invasion storyline that is..?

i mean he got booker t, ddp and kanyon represent wcw at that time, but he should have used sting, goldberg, luger or could have brought back nwo characters like hogan,nash hall,etc....if u look back at the invasion era now...u know it sux........

IMO Vince can delayed this storyline atleast the end of 2002 and then by that time sign Hulk,DDP,Nash,Sting(although it was immpossible and it is not even possible now) and Luger as the reprensetative for WCW.This Invasion is the legimate Invasion of WCW in WWE.

Yes he could have worked The Invasion storyline a lot better back then if he'd only waited a while longer.With WCW being bought out from Ted Turner, Vince wanted to create a buzz and get the ratings up with The Invasion as soon as he could.Which was a shame as Vince could have waited and then used Ric Flair and Rey Misterio who signed after the Invasion.Scott Steiner and Sting who were injured could also have been used later.While Hulk Hogan, The Outsiders and Goldberg were still tied to their WCW contracts during the Invasion and weren't involved.While Stone Cold defected from WWF and joined The Alliance.The whole storyline ended weakly with the final Survivor Series match featuring four WWF stars fighting it out.

Its probably was he originally had in mind. The problem is that most of top WCW wrestlers either refused to work for the WWF or had long term contracts with Time Warner (WCW's former parent company)  which made it impossible for Vince to hire them when he bought WCW.
