  1. Sure, some day. Sooner than anyone thinks, but more than fifty years from now.

  2. There are some reports that the atmosphere on mars is already inhabitable.

  3. Not that way but perhaps by the use of bacteria over millions of years.

Icy asteroids could be caused to crash on the planet to add more water to the atmosphere

Anything is possible in the distant future

  4. Right now-- ONLY on a star trek episode.

  5. yes straight after we learn to handle this one on earth,LOL, but seriously no mars isnt large enough therefore doesnt have sufficient gravity to contain an atmosphere

  6. It has been estimated that it would be cheaper to build a planet than to terraform a planet. When you build a planet you don't need to rely on a biosphere to create a livable atmosphere.

  7. Earth is the home of Man, and we should not be thinking of moving to Mars to set up new towns and cities on another planet (Mars). We do not know enough about Mars yet, there may be new dicoveries to be made, all we know is the information that was in the newspapers and on television. It might be possible to live there but the atmosphere would have to be contained under a dome, for each settlement.

  8. with great difficulty, the climate on mars is still very harsh.
