and can someone give me examples of fruit dispersed by water that would be easily accessible?

Or maybe a flower that is pollinated by wind, that would be great too.

  1. <<could weeds in my backyard be considered a fruit dispersed by wind?>>

    Some probably could.

<<and can someone give me examples of fruit dispersed by water that would be easily accessible?>>

I can't think of any fruit that generally gets dispersed by water.  I suppose it could happen to some extent with coconuts, should you use a loose definition of fruit.

<<Or maybe a flower that is pollinated by wind, that would be great too.>>

Pollination is done by pollen, not the wind.  Still, some light pollens are indeed dispersed by the wind.  It's common enough among fir and pine trees.  Perhaps they'll serve your purposes despite not being flowering plants as such.

  2. Are you conflating 'fruit' with 'seed'?  Many plants use wind as a seed-dispersal agent, but I can't think offhand of any plants that have wind-dispersed fruits.  Fruits are generally designed and intended for animal-assisted seed dispersal, or at least for boosted-fertilizer seed assistance.  They don't fly well, though.

You might look up Sweetgum and Sycamore trees to see how they spread their seeds, too.

  3. 1) There is a good possibility that the weeds in your back yard have arrived there wind borne ( on wind ).

Details would have helped to give more accurate answer.

2 ) Before man's intervention the dispersal of coconut has occurred only via water = click the  link below=
