Could you PLEASE critique my poem?

it is my first effort so try not to be to nasy, though all comments are welcome

i agree i really like it the poem even the tone of you voice fits mood of the poem some of the pics are great too prersonally as it was playing when it got to the" all i seen were tears" it was a bit of a let down with the pictures they did get blury i was mybe if you could find one close up maybe in the process of being cut down with the chain saw stuck in it .....tree falling in motion...maybe a close up up the fresh cut rings because evryone knows the more rings it has the older it is which is good for your story in your poem to show the lessons the history the secrets....does that make sense? but those arent major things and i know you didnt ask for critiquing the video it all just is soupoused to flow together .....other then that its very nicely done good work! :)

A poem about a tree, I feel like I've Read it a thousand times, rather been done to death.

It was a lovely, sincere, well thought out poem, it scanned and was easy to listen to.

The poem itself is actually quite good.

The only thing I would say was that the pictures weren't the best quality, maybe you could do an actual video of a tree, growing and then dying (speeded up though, or by putting pictures together if you get what i mean!)

But I think its very good for a first attempt, well done! :) x

I Think that this poem was quite lovely, the whole thing brought a tear to my daughters eyes, I must admit that the idea was excellent and walked us through the life of the tree.

Terry: even though there are lots and lots of poems about trees they are not all the same and all give different perspective unique to the writer.

i liked the video as well it was really fitting I thought!
