I heard that from somewhere, but dont oranges supply no protein or fat (at least enough to count, anyway) whatsoever?

Poll: If you could choose one food and one drink to live off of...what would it be?

Me: Water and full fat yogurt.

  1. No, you cannot live on fruit alone.

Here is a page that explains how to eat a balanced diet for different calorie levels.  Although this page is intended for diabetics, this is the same balanced diet that is recommended for everyone.   http://diabetes.niddk.nih.gov/dm/pubs/ea...

  2. the real question is do you want to try ????

  3. You could last for a good while if you ate the peel. That has some oils and some protein.

But eventually you would die of malnutrition.

And sorry to say this, but yogurt doesn't have the vitamins that you need.

Mine would be collard greens and orange juice.

Would get nasty after a while, but you get protein and plenty of nutrients.

  4. You can for a while, but you would die from lack of calories and certain proteins.

I would bring orange juice cause it has lots of vitamins that you need in fruits, and ill bring ice cream. Sorry, cant live with out it. haha.

  5. Well i know that i couldnt survive off that lol if i had to pick 1 thing to live off it would bee Water and .. Chicken Strips LMAO idk :D

  6. maybe for a little bit, but not long term...its just plain unhealthy

and if it were possible id live off of milk and cereal, lol theres like a million different kinds of cereal and soy, cow, rice, almond milk soo the combinations are endless :D

  7. Love them when i'm off, hate them while i'm on.....

But i always go back for more... Lol

  8. Sorry, no.

  9. I've hear that you can live off beans on toast for ages. I dont know how true this is but it seems kinda reasonable seein as beans have alotta protein in them. Only you might not be top of the party lists if you do that lol. Eggs are good too as are things like spinich and other green leafy things but i dont know how long u could live off them alone for.

If you're having trouble affording the groceries then try just buying staples like cheese, eggs milk, a few fruit and veg ect rather than the whole "luxery" grocery list. You could make your own bread and stuff too which is not expensive to do (and pretty easy) plus it tastes and smells fab when its cooking. =)

  10. Actually water and full fat yogurt are pretty good.    Yogurt is very good, healthy and filling.

But I can't survive on oranges and water because orange is sour and will make me hungry.
