He didn't think that the broken window was broken. As a matter of fact, he was just glad that the wolf hadn't eaten them!

No pensó que la rota ventana fue importante. ¡En realidad, estuvo nada pero contento que el lobo a los no había comido!

Please explain why (if anything) is wrong. Thanks

  1. El no creia que la ventana rota estuviese de verdad rota. De hecho, estaba contento de que el lobo no se los hubiese comido.

  2. El no creía que la ventana rota era importante. De hecho, solo estaba contento porque el lobo no los había comido.

    Odd sentance

Use the verb "creer" to talk about opinion. "Pensar" is think as in sit and think hard about something.

"De hecho" means "of fact" as in "As a matter of fact"

Otherwise generally spanish sentances ar emuch more ismple than English

  3. Dru has a pretty accurate translation.  You could use either "en realidad" or "de hecho" I think.  You can't always make a direct translation from English to Spanish because it doesn't make sense.  That's the main reason online translators don't work.  And there are so many words in English that mean more than one thing, and you can't always use the same word in Spanish.  In Spanish, it would be more correct to use "creer" than "pensar" - it means believe, which is what you're trying to say.

    Hope that helps!
