  1. Probably but it's "iffy"...

My martial arts technique of choice is the walking stick / cane.

I would be much more confident in the winter when my cane has an ice cleat on it!

Using a walking stick you can keep most of your opponents out of range most of the time.

There are no absolutes -- especially against multiple opponents!

    How old are they?

    How many are there?

    Are they skilled fighters?

Do any of them have weapons?

    If so, what kind?

Where are you: in the open, in a confined space, on an icy surface...?

  2. That's what my gun is for. That's when my legs get to running.

Besides that, yes take out one guy and use him as a shield against the others, then focus on another, use as shield and so on. Three times I have defended against multiple attackers and was successful twice, the third time I didn't see it coming, New Orleans is a ***** :)

  3. There are some good training techniques out there for defending against multiple attackers.  The best I've ever seen is "Mass Attack" with Paul Vunak.  However training like this is used mostly to  learn what not to do in a situation with multiple attackers and how to get out of the situation quickly.  One of the best things I ever heard about mutliple attackers was from Rickson Gracie when in an interview he was asked what his favorite technique is against multiple attackers and he said it was his pistol.

  4. Use a Cudgel.  It's good for multiple attackers.

  5. yeah multiple attackers are so easy shoot the first and biggest guy even if it is with a .22 i have never known anyone to get shot and want to continue to fight belive me the rest of the sons of b*****s won't want none

  6. Yes, if I get to choose my attackers.

  7. yes if i had 6 of my friends with me.  : ) If not that's why we run 1st and only fight if we have to.

  8. I have before and it was one h**l of a adrenaline rush.  I would not want to fight multiple guys with experience but I'll fight a couple punks anyday.

  9. As long as it's under 6 people. Otherwise I'll break a sweat.

And what's with the thumbs down? I'm serious.

  10. Tokidoki ........ totemo shibashiba amari ni

  11. it depends on a lot of things but i think i could. because we train like that sometimes 3v1 training is fun and free for all sparring is also fun because all our sparring is full contact.

but if i had 3 trained attackers with weapons it would be very different. or if i didnt see a couple of them. there are so mny things that would change how well you can defend yourself this question is very broad.

  12. The real question is... If you're sitting in a crowded theater and somebody rips a silent one, how do you find out who it was?

  13. Yes, Qinna is a great thing, first punch, I've reversed them, broken their arm, and Punch them in the temple, with Bagua push hand training I knock many away 12+ feet and using Wing Tsun, I eliminate them 1 by 1, if I can't create that situation, then Elephant eliminates them with Hammer fists to the groin on many at once and multiple blocks, lastly, Mizong lets me move quickly and deceptively from opponent to oppnent

  14. haha no, i wish!

pepper spray is illegal where i live

  15. Yes.  Because I train for that scenario.  I have to spar at full speed and 25% strength, but I let the older teenage kids and newer students go full contact on me.  You have to practice what you want to be good at.  Remember, keep the person your fighting between you and the other attackers.  Worst case scenario is being attacked from multiple directions.

Chances are anyone who is attacked by multiple opponents will get hurt, but yeah, you should always try to defend yourself - go out with some heart.

  16. Sure--but only if they're grey creatures made from clay that talk like this: "blub blub blub blub blub..." and they have a "Z" on their chest that's their weak point.

Human opponents on the other hand...hmm, that'd be difficult
