Could you die from your period not stopping?

Do you think it's possible for your period to never stop and you die?

I dont know, my period does not stop for a very long time i have it for 3 months and i lose alot of blood the doctors told me to drink iron pills so i can have more blood in me but i am always very weak and when i drink the pill its supposed to help me feel energized again...:[

no. I had a very heavy period for 2 months after i had a laproscopy and I was fine.

Hmm, never thought about that but I guess it would be possible to bleed to death from it.

yep ur about to die no seriously u might wanna see a doctor about that cuz if uve been having ur period so long there might be somthin gonin on in there so go see a doctor

it can never happen. the period blood is the unwanted lining of the uterus, it is not hooked up to an artery, when the lining is expelled, the period is over till the next time.

Your not bleeding from a wound or artery, menstrual blood is the lining of the uterus which is being shed, if when you have your period, your having continued long bleeding, this can leave you at risk from having iron deficiency anaemia, see your Dr if your periods are regularly over 8 days long..you may need iron supplements and maybe even go on the pill to help regulate your cycle.
