Could you donate one of your kidneys if you are convinced that it could save a life? ?

Honestly, I'm not a wheeler-dealer in this.

Just checking on the situation today.

Though I'm healthy, I haven't done it. I have been a committed donor of blood which thankfully is made safe over many years.

I would for a family member, especially my child, in a heartbeat.  A stranger, I don't think so.

i would except that i am a diabetic and diabetics cannot donate organs, especially their kidneys.

Nope. Although it puts me in a bad light, I admit that my own life takes priority. Although you can survive on one kidney, you aren't without effect giving one away.
