Could you exchange qaurters for dollar bills at mcdonalds?

okay.

i know that if you go in to mcdonalds

and if you have a few dollar bills you can exchange thm for quarters

with now problem.

but wat if you have11 dollars in qaurters.

could you exchange those for dollar bills,

or no>?

and i'm asking about mcdonalds cuz thats the closest by my house. and i'm talking about the mcdonalds' in california

probably not at that amount you might need to go to the bank where they can do that for free!

if they are not busy. but, they can't open their register unless you buy something. they are not able to stand there and count out money when they are busy.

All money is deemed as legally tender whether it be metal coins or paper bills.  However, no commercial entity can be forced to be an exchange center for such.  The only obligation the business has is to itself and its employees.  Obligation to the customer comes from an entirely free market mindset.  On the contrary, they cannot turn away service to you simply because of the form of payment you are offering as long as it is legal tender.

So, even if it is only a couple of bucks, it is up to the establishment that you are trading these coins out with.  My suggestion would be to go to them right after a particularly busy period and give it a try then as coins (especially quarters) become in short supply as few people pay in exact change.  They may be delighted that they do not have to make a trip to the bank in order to break up their change in order to continue business.  

I guess the answer is that you "could", but the real question is whether or not they would.  Going to a bank where you have an account would be the best option if that is available to you.
