Could you get a virus using myspace IM with skype?

Well, I'm not sure if Myspace IM and Skype have the ability for file transfer [when someone can send you a file and vice versa.] But if they do and you accept an infected file, then it could get on your computer and infect your computer or if they send you a link to a site that is infected, you could also get that infection. It'd also be a good idea to get a firewall. You can enable the Windows Firewall or download Comodo Firewall Pro which is a free firewall program that works very well for me.
