Could you get arrested if you got into a fight?

I got into a fight yesterday outside of a store.me and some guy fought for about 1 minute.When I punched him he fell,got knocked out,lol,so I ran after a cop car passed by and reversed to see what was happening.since then I see cops patroling in my neighborhood outside my window,I haven't gone out since then.

If the person presses chares I think. Actually yeah, disturbing peace and ****, they get you for anything. The government sucks and will do anything no matter the reason to get people to pay. Well, they might just fine you. I'm sorry I write so confusing hahaha :)

Wow, someone needs to learn the law and stop reading conspiracy novels (other answer). Disorderly conduct-participating in a fight is a misdemeanor. Did the other guy press charges? If not you are golden. If so, does he know you? Did he go to the hospital? If no hospital then would only be a misdemeanor not committed in an officer's presence so therefore a non-arrestable offense. Can be issued a citizen's citation...but then you could issue the other party the same.
