  1. I think it only counts as fraternization if the recruiter is with the Navy. They can't be in a direct work relationship or chain of command with you.

  2. I wouldnt say they would kick him out right away. I know some people, lets say, and they are still in. a slap on the hand. But its not good, he is supposed to be a professional and you are supposed to be concerned with getting to bootcamp. Dont ruin your future, or his life. End it NOW.

  3. Yes. He'll get in trouble, and you probably wont get shipped.

  4. No you won't....yet you are not subject to the UCMJ but you will be.  What you should if give that recruiters name to the Career Counselor at MEPS so that S***e can stop shitbags like that gives NCOs a bad name.

  5. Its called "RECRUITER IMPROPRIETY".

...and it doesn't matter if it's marine recruiter to navy DEP and vv.  It'll be perceived as an RI and the investigation will cause ripples across all the services in that area.

These ruin recruiter careers and almost always cause a delay in shipping--due to investigations and such.  It's always harder on the recruiter than the applicant but both still pay a price.

    its not worth it.

After training, when you're no longer considered an applicant, DEP or have any affiliation with the recruiting command structure, then you can date.

  6. The real question is were you dating before or after you joined the Navy? If it were before then there isn't an issue. If it were afterward it only becomes a problem if he meet you during his line of work. If not then don't sweat it. I wouldn't parade it around though.
