Could you give 3 million dollars to the Church?

Someone hit the lottery and anonymously gave a church 3 million dollars. The unknown person hit a scratch off for 3 mil. And felt that god instructed them to give it to the church, who was in need. Could you do that? If you had that scratch off, how much would you have given for a new church, that the congregation needed?

if God told them to do it...then they need to do it. my flesh would have gotten in the way but i would have to do what God told me. because that person listened to God...i can honestly believe that, that person has a HUGE blessing coming their way.

if i won the mega million, i would tithe, give away to those who are in need, help my family and then give to myself.

God says something about tith. Which is ten percent so ten percent of 3 million would be ok with God.

Poor don't scare me none. Yes. Peter's Pence would receive the bulk of it. That's the charity that feeds, clothes, shelters, educates and medicates the poorest of the poor, worldwide. Works for me (pun intended, Protestants).

I think that although I am a Christian and the church needs some money for repairs etc.  there are many other better causes and I also feel that I would want to help out my family.
