  1. Ecosystems are major interacting systems that include organisms (plants, animals, etc) and their nonliving environment (water, soil, etc). Ecosystems can be classified terrestrially into biomes. There are eight main biomes: tropical rain forest, savanna, desert, temperate grassland, temperate deciduous forest, temperate evergreen forest, taiga, and tundra.

    Hope this helps. (Many places I looked online were merely using the terms interchangeably).


  2. A biome is multiple ecosystems put together. Lets say the pond is the ecosystem. the pond, and the forest surrounding the pond would be the Biome.
