  1. To put it in simple terms. I am not a part of your family. Would you like me to set restrictions on what you can or cannot do even though I am not your parent, or sibling?

Well, if you are not part of this countries "family", why should you have a say in our matters?

  2. 1st argument- It's illegal.

2nd argument- Citizens have the right to vote.

    Non citizens do not.

3rd argument- In order to vote you must first become a citizen.

  3. First, are you here legally? If yes apply for to be come American. SPEAK ENGLISH WHEN IS PUBLIC. Then you can vote. I thing to become an American you need to serve 2 years in the Armed Service no matter what your age. Then you can vote.

  4. What do you mean by "about" ?

I will let any citizen of another country vote in a U.S. election as soon as I can cast a vote in that country's elections. If I can vote for a candidate running for President of South Africa, then by all means a citizen of South Africa can vote for President of the U.S.

  5. Yeah, they are not citizens...they should not vote.

Can you see visitors to any panel voting in it, whether in a business, judged sporting event, etc.  In no circumstances would visitors vote policy, so they should not vote for those who make policy.

  6. Yeah- they are NOT citizens.

  7. Why should you get to vote if you are not a member? That applys to any group.

Why should we let 11 million illegal immigrants elect politicians that will do what they want? We don't let felons vote and they ARE citizens.

  8. Would that be arguments for or against allowing non-citizens to vote?

  9. Simply that's it against the law and a privilege of citizenship

  10. Non citizens cannot vote in federal elections or in most state elections.  I could see allowing legal residents to vote in local elections such as for school board members or even city government.  After all they are here legally, working and paying taxes.  Many have children in school so it's only reasonable that they have a say in local affairs.

  11. This is not even worth debate, non citizens should not have any say in the running of our government, none.  And, I also am against none property owners being allowed to vote on property tax issues.

  12. There are none.  You will never and should never be able to vote if you are not a citizen.
