Let's say there's a lotto website where u can pick one number between, say, 1-1000, just for sake of this scenario. Players can do it for free and pick one number each daily. Let's also say this is a 100% legit lotto. All it requires to enter a number is your email address.

So what IF you created 1000 email addresses and entered one number each in the lotto (all numbers between 1-1000), obviously you would win of course, but would you get arrested?

There is such a website, just so you know, I wont say the name, but the number is MUCH larger than 1000. My bro tried an experiment by creating 10 email addresses and selected a number for each one, he did this for 3 days, he didnt get in any trouble, in fact he came in 1st place so they awarded him 20 more number entries. Nobody from the site said anything.

  1. NOT REALLY ANYTHiiNG WRONG WiiTH THAT!

YOU'LL JUST HAVE ALOT OF EMAiiL ADRESSES

    TO MANANGE!!!

    -HiiGH MAiiTENANCE

  2. its probably not illegal if u use different names for the email addresses but the problem with that is when u want to collect your prize they will prolly ask for identification and it wont match ur email and therefore wont give u ur prize and ill figure it out... if u have the same info entered for all the email addresses then they will see u have multiple emails and would probably disqualify you

  3. I don't think there is a concern with going to jail...the only concern is the legality of the rules of the game. Translation: if they say you can only enter a number once daily and you create a thousand emails to win so that they think you are 1000 different people...then I would say you risk a bigger chance of being disqualified if they find out. If they discover the scam after awarding any money then they can make you pay it back and if you refuse they can choose to take legal action against you. So ask yourself is it really worth it?

  4. Read the complete rules of the site, if it states that there is only on entry per person per day, then what you are doing is against the rules.  You should not worry about going to jail, unless when collecting your prize/prizes you signoff on a statement that you followed the rules.  If they find out then you would owe the prizes back and also could be accused of Fraud.

Next is what do you win ?  If it 's a small amount there is a change that this site is just a front to collect valid E-mail address to sell to others.

  5. No thats not illegal because there is no way to trace all the web sites to you as long as you use fake names and such.

  6. no, there is actually no way someone can know you went to that site even if it's illegal unless police puts a tracer on your computer( which is really a rare ocurence) the only reason why they put a tracer on your computer is if they think your going to comite a crime, anywaya, if it's 100% legit, it should be ok

  7. IDK

  8. no i dont think u can go to jail for that

  9. read the license agreement, if it says 1 entry per email its legal if it says one entry per person then its illegal

  10. really? that is a really smart idea!!! i should try that too...

  11. Well I would assume the site itself will have terms and agreements you have to check off, it should include the rules. If you break/breach any of these terms or agreements there may be punishments or they may just choose not to reward you with anything at all. Watch out though, the site may not be legit and I don't want you or anyone else to be in any trouble if they scammed you of any sort.

  12. You can't go to jail for that because the people who run that website have probably figured someone would do that. Either that or they don't care.

  13. prolly lol.

  14. no, it's not illegal to do that. But nothing's free so perhaps you only think your winning something? Like more free entries. Believe me, people who run real lotteries got it all figured out.
