  1. Snapper,

Your cabela's selection is the way to go. When it comes to bass, I am a topwater fanatic. Make sure you add some popping plugs & buzzbaits for good measure and heart-stopping strikes. The only thing I didn't see is a jig lineup. I always carry a few 1/4 - 1/2 oz. stanley jigs ( black & blue) and some trailers; again, b&b in plastic & pork. Plastic over 60 degree water temps, & when the bite is tough. Hey, best of luck and catch a bunch!!!

  2. Stay away from the Lew's lures (not the best quality), and the drop shot kit too. The tornado spinnerbait, I have no experience with. The others are all fine. I would at least get one of each. The Strike King crankbaits are good lures, everything from Strike King is good (I get Strike King lures for free!) I think your Cabela's lineup is best. I like to have at the least a chugger, buzzbait, spinnerbait, frog, suspending minnow, crankbait( shallow, medium, and deep) jig,10" plastic ribbontail worm, and a Senko style worm for bass.
