Could you help me with grammar and punctuation on a quick note?

Thank god for spell check, but I am very week in grammar and punctuation.

Can you fix this for me?

Thanks, C.J.

To who it may concern,

It has been my pleasure having John Smith work for me at Com-Tech.

John has been a great asset to our work group, the company and his crew-members. John is a natural leader among his peers and a great teacher. John always steps up to challenges and handles them with the expertise of a seasoned technician.

John is a very conscience person when it comes to work. He sees the big picture with all jobs and easy goes through the steps to complete them. His professional manner and confidant has made him a valuable roll model for our younger less experienced technicians.

John has always shown loyalty and strong dedication to his job. After learning of the pending layoffs John made sure that a highly important job for the company was completed on time before his departure. His attention to detail showed the pride he takes in doing every job he tackles.

His co-workers and I will miss John. He has made strong bonds with his fellow workers and has their highest respect as well as the whole management team.

I highly recommend John for any job opportunity he pursues. He has show that his learns very quickly, gives attention to detail and is a positive influence on those around him. With John’s experience and skills I know that he will be an asset to any organization he joins.

  1. ... company, [comma] and his crew...

Try not to start all sentences with John. Use He.

    Easy should be easily.

    Otherwise, good rough draft

  2. Maureen did an awesome job here. The only question that I have is about the word "confidant". It's in the 2nd paragraph.  I was just wondering if you meant "confidence" or not.......as in:

His professional manner and confidence has made him a valuable......

That was all I had to contribute from her correction.
