Could you invite me to mixi?

If I'm not mistaken, some people stated that using (certain) free-mail providers might pose a problem. Maybe mixi blocks that address because it a freemail and/or a non-japanese one (how about ***@yahoo.co.jp?). Create a Japanese e-mail-address again and retry.

Another problem is that a Japanese cell phone number is required. But since mixi also houses different people from the world, there might be a way around this (?).

I would also like to "abuse" your question [...] to request an invite too. I know it might fail also, but I registered a Japanese yahoo mail address a while ago. Also I'm studying Japanese Studies, I might not be fluent, but I have no major problems understanding most sentences, as the radicals already help a lot analyzing the meaning, while the grammar is not that difficult [well, if you learn a language ...].

If applicable, please send me an invite to [e-mail] too. Thanks in advance either way, even if it might fail and say that I cannot be invited too.

I tried to invite you, but it says

"you cannot invite this person"

Probably they changed their policy again and you cannot invite anyone w/ free email address...
