Could you live without a television?

Question

i mean, in your home. You can watch it other places, but I mean in your primary residence. Could you give up your TV? I'd need an internet connection obviously. Thanks.

I have one tv in my house and it basically collects dust.  The only time I use it is to watch a dvd or sometimes for an ON Demand movie - rare thing in my house to watch TV.

Yep. We have tv (and a DVR) but I hardly watch it. My boyfriend had to have it. I can do with Internet but I've even lived without that. I didn't have cable for about two years and then I started dating him and realized that in order for me to understand anything he was talking about, I would have to start watching TV. Still, I didn't get cable. I got an antenna.

yeah, i only really watch it out of habit. or while i'm on my laptop or ironing or writing as essay it's on in the background.

If I had to and I even spent several years without it growing up and I turned out fine. I do like tv but I don't really watch enough that I would miss it honestly.
