I'll have a 12-year-old with me, so I won't want a loud, drunken environment.

    Enjoy!

  2. Little Havana on Cornelia Street off Bleecker in the Village is one of my favorite restaurants.  The food's always very good.

Casa Havana in Chelsea on Eighth Avenue and 20th Street makes a great Cubano sandwich

Cafe Con Leche on the Upper West Side - one's on Amsterdam and 95th and the other's on Amsterdam and 81st.  They make a wonderful mofungo made with shrimp instead of the usual pork.  Excellent coffee and delicious flan.  [it's a quiet place at lunch and early evening, but gets loud later on at night - they have a busy bar]

  3. There is a place in the meet packing district called son cubano. It's an awesome place the food is amazing and the place turns in to a hot lounge after a certain time.
