  1. x=v t

    ...0=v- g t

    t=v/g and t=flied time=2t=2 v/g

    so

    range =v 2v/g cos(angle theta)

    R=2 V^2/g (cos[theta])

    .hint,,g=9.81 m/sec^2

    v=initial velocity,,,and angle of horizontal

  2. a. Initial velocity.

    b. Angle with respect to the horizontal.

    c. Height from the ground.

    d. Gravity (g)

  3. Range of projectile can be derived using the initial velocity in x axis(Vx or horizontal velocity) and time. In finding the time, height and gravity are used, so the factors affecting yhe projectile range sre horizontal velocity, time of travel, height of travel and gravitational acceleration or gravity.

    GoodLuck!

  4. 1) Initial velocity.  The faster it is launched, the further it will go.

    2) Launch angle to the ground.  In the absence of air resistance, a launch angle of 45 degrees will give the greatest range.

    3) Air resistance.  This will reduce the range.

    4) The shape of the earth.  This is important for long range missiles as the earth is not flat.
