  1. Does the incision look infected, is it read or is it weeping pus? Is she eating and drinking OK? Does she have vomiting or diarrhea, or is she lethargic? If the answer to all of these questions is no, then I would say she is fine. My cat always meows when I touch her too...go figure :). cats tend to either get very nasty when in pain or go and hide somewhere like your closet. She sounds OK to me, If you're worried call you vet. they'll be happy to help!

  2. You dont have to pick her up (my cat does the same thing) Just put your hands around her insicion while she is standing up and see how she reacts... without trying to pick her up. (maybe while she is eating??)

Dont do it too hard, just gently "palpate" or feel around the area, if she doesnt MEOW really loud or try and bite you, i think its OKAY!

    =)

  3. She will meow differently (maybe yelp) and try to get away from you if what you are doing hurts her.

  4. In order to get my kitten to position heself where I can see her belly, I rub her side, so that she is comfortable and then she lays down on her side, so I can feel her stomach and see if anything is wrong!

  5. Id go see a Vet and ask him/her

  6. My guess would be not just by her meowing ,but how is she squirming around while your looking. If its her normal way your good. If she thrashes like no times before I'd call the vet.
