Could you please mention me about what is the block visa of Saudi ?

There are some visa named block visa. If my name is in the block visa to Saudi how many days will take to complete the formalities from the consulate in India. I mean if I submit all documents to the consulate or embassy in India when I can get it back? and when I can travel to Saudi?

OK.. A block visa is like this: A company gets a block of visas (say 20-30-40-100) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). A single number is assigned to the company against which the employees can apply for a visa.

The MOFA issues a letter indicating where that block visa number can be used (e.g. 1 block number with 5 visas could be used at Delhi, Washington, Houston, Ottawa, etc)... The Employer gives you a letter or sends the documents directly to the Embassy that covers your jurisdiction.

No clue about processing times in Delhi... DC people told me that if you submit everything, they ship visas back 2nd day!
