  1. Maybe you hit your limit.  Or it's possible the stripe on the back is just too worn to be read.  Or if you are trying to use it out of town, some card companies will reject it - I had a $506 purchase rejected by Citibank recently even though I had thousands left of available credit, when I was trying to make a purchase in the next state, around 265 miles from my home - Citibank said it was because it was an unusual pattern.  Thanks a lot.  They did call my home to say why they'd rejected it - but DUH! - I wasn't there.

  6. mayb wat ur buying exceeds the amount ur allowed to spend at once with the card... i have a visa n they did this to me wen i paid for classes... its a precaution in case some1 steals ur card

  7. probably your bank wants you to talk to them for verification purposes....

    Or it is a security measure as you may have spent more than usual.
