  1. actually, anything that has mass has gravitational force... the greater the mass of the object, the greater its gravity is, and vice versa..

so in planets, since they're really big, they create a pull towards its centre, its effects could be that small objects floating in space, when it would get to close to the gravitational field of the planet, the object will be likely to be pulled towards the planet... just like how some free-floating rocks from space get into earth's atmosphere

  2. Bigger planets have stronger gravatational pull while smaller planets have a weaker pull.

  3. i thnk it is bcoz of mass of d planet

  4. Anything that has mass causes gravity.  Gravity (according to Dr. Einstein) is caused by mass warping space-time.  The greater the mass, the greater the warping, and the stronger the gravitational force.

Think of space-time as being a rubber sheet...when you put a marble on it it will create a little dimple (a small mass slightly warping space-time).  If you put a bowling ball on it, it will put a larger dimple in the sheet (a large mass warping space-time more).  Gravitational attraction is caused by object moving into these "gravity wells" around objects.
