  1. i bought the Kaplan ACT book and did the practice test in the college board book and i ended up getting a 27 so good luck!

  2. http://studyguidezone.com/index.htm

This is a great site for practicing the test.

  3. I really really really thought the Princeton Review book was helpful... I felt like the Princeton Review ACT book was ten times more helpful than the Princeton Review SAT book was. I read the whole book two nights before and then took the test, I felt completely prepared.

  4. I used Peterson's Ultimate ACT Assessment Tool Kit.  It's a book and CD, but I haven't tried the CD yet.  Book is very thorough and easy to read.  There are several full-length practice tests, and the answers are given and explained afterward.  Also divides the subjects into several chapters each to pinpoint common struggles and includes sample problems as examples.

    Good luck!

  5. The Princeton Review Guide to Cracking the ACT. I used it and got a cumulative score of 33. It gives you tips on being a better test taker and literally tells you all of the information you need to know to do awesome on the ACT.
