  8. You do not say whether you are male or female, or whether you like action, romance, war or what.

I am into 'Historical Fiction", and therefore like books by

    a)  James Clavel -- "King Rat, Shogun, Taipan, Noble House, Gai-Jin, Whirlwind and Escape and others.

    b)  Wilbur Smith -- (there are quite a number of books).

    c)  James Michener -- The Drifters, Texas, Hawaii, and many more.

    d) Robert Elegant -- Dynasty, Manchu and many more.

    e) Leon Uris -- Battle Cry, Exodus, Mila 18,  QB-VII, and others.

I have other authors for straight fiction.

  9. Good, you've read Twilight :D

    Eragon and Eldest are great

C.S Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia

I"ve heard Evernight's good for Twilight lovers. Haven't read it yet, though.

Scott Westerfeld's Uglies books (Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras)

    The Marked books are okay.

    Don't Die Dragonfly

    Warriors are okay

Hope this helps!!! (can't remember if I have email or IM open, but if I do, and you want to discuss a book with someone, pick me!! :D)
