  1. i hope they never come back to china

  2. Yes, I can see them hosting the Olympic Games again.  It's a shame that such a great deal of people only focus on all the negative controversy.  Well Bob Marley once said, "Before you start pointing fingers, make sure your own hands are clean."  That's what I think about the people who have nothing but negative and nonconstructive criticism.

  3. No. I think their show was a one-time thing.

And, with all of the controvery surrounding the games, I don't see why they'd get it again - although they got it in the first place so, who knows?

  4. I hope so but it will be a long wait

  5. yes, I think they did a very good show, but with so many countries wanting to host them, they may have a long wait.

  6. Absolutely.

No terrorist attacks or even threats that I've heard of, no crazy priests attacking marathon runners -- overall, a very well-run Olympics.

There were some controversies, but that is true with any Olympics, and disputed judging scores will always be a part of judged events, regardless of who is the host.

  7. I sure hope so, and hope maybe next time the other Chinese cities such as Shanghai and Hong Kong can have a chance. I mean they are growing to be a world power so they have financial abilities behind them to support the hosting of major sport events. Plus, with the record number of golds that China got in their young Chinese sport history, China does have the ability and requirement to hold Summer or Winter Olympic. I hope they can come back in 2020 or 2024 to host the Summer Olympic again because hosting the Olympic actually lets foreigners know more about China and not the misleading news they saw in their country. If U.K. and the U.S. can host more than once of the Olympic, why can't China do it?

  8. YESSS!! They did such a marvellous job this time and they should have another chance in a short period of time. And if London gets to host the Olympics twice, so should China especially after topping the gold medal count and putting out such an amazing performance during either the games or the ceremonies, so definitely a "Yes"...=)

  9. well done China! and yes it will be a long wait

  10. Yes, definitely.  I'd say within 50 years, they might even win a bid over Korea or Japan.  Whether people like it or not, China is rapidly becoming a superpower if they aren't one already, overtaking Russia, they will host alot of big events and the FIFA president has hinted that the World Cup could be hosted there soon.  So maybe they could get another Olympic bid if that goes well.

  11. Yes they put on a great opening and closing ceremony and did a great job as a host nation. Hey and no one would dare to attack them. Safe and cool I can imagine 2028 or 2032

  12. Yes, but maybe a different Chinese city.

  13. If London and Los Angeles could do it, so can any other city.

  14. Yes, I could see Beijing, China hosting another Olympics. They did an incredible job at being the host and should be credited for their efforts with future considerations. The city of Beijing and China should be proud at a job well done.

  15. 2020 ShangHai!

  16. It could happen but not for a very long time.

    e.g. London 1948, 2012, Los Angeles 1932, 1984

  17. Yeah, they did a amazing job this time, especially the opening and closing ceremonies, wow.

  18. well i hope they will have a chance to host the Olympics again because I was really impressed by Beijing and this was the first time i got so addicted to watching the Olympics, regardless of their human rights records or political controversies and they have done a really good job. I enjoyed watching them. So yes.
