Could you sue a person if they tell something on ebay but dont give it to you?

my daughter wants something called a "Webkinz" they say it comes with a code but if you were to buy a webkinz on Ebay and it dodsent come with a code could you sue them

  1. You can dispute it through ebay to get your money back if they falsely advertised the product.


  2. Contact the seller and explain..share your concerns..

    If they refuse to give it to you, contact eBay - they will give you your money back even if the seller won't..

  3. If the item description on ebay doesn't say it comes with a code, then there's nothing you can do.  If their item description says it comes with a code, but they don't supply one, then go through ebay to handle the dispute.

  4. Have you ever read the terms and conditions of eBay???? Their motto is "Caveat emptor", or "buyer beware". No, there's no way that you can sue them for something like that. You're purchasing used merchandise, and it's tough to guarantee the quality.

    Besides, that's the worst excuse for a lawsuit I've ever heard of. Any self-respecting judge would laugh in your face. You have a very inflated sense of entitlement if you're serious about this.
