Question:

Could you tell me if this statement about my ear problems I had not too long ago is correct or not?

My left ear was popping. Then, after a while, it switched to my right ear. Then, it switched to my left ear again. All of the switching took place over a period of a few days.

My boyfriend told me it was because I responding to atmospheric pressure. Do you believe this is this true or false? Why is it true or false?

  1. It can be true, but if you're in the same spot all the time, that's probably not the issue.  My guess is it has more to do with your jaw, allergies or your sinuses.  TMJ issues can cause popping... as can allergies and sinus issues.  Usually atmospheric pressure affects BOTH ears at once, not one at a time.

I'd address your sinuses first and see if that helps anything.
