  1. So all those things are myths, but you believe in ghosts and angels?

I don't think Y2K was a total myth, some things that are run by computers could have malfunctioned at the turn of the century, but because it was known about pretty well all the commuters were fixed before then.

I think maybe we were a bit disappointed that nothing did happen given all the government hype for a couple of years before the big date.

When I was a kid everybody knew that mermaids, werewolves and vampires were made up stories but somehow thanks to the internet some wallys now think those things are real.

    Edit

Unicorns must be real too then since the bible mentions them several times?

  2. I'll give you a link to this awesome super secret search engine I used to conduct much of my confidential research:

    http://www.google.com/

If you buy the Christian mythology, what is preventing you from just buying into the rest of them?

  3. How about using your computer to research all of that yourself?

Then if you have something you would like to discuss or have questions about, then post it.

  4. The myth of 2012 created by Mayan there calendar… is a misunderstanding of the Mayan calendar. Yes, this Mayan age will end on 21 of Dec, 2012 and a new age will begin (people always seem to leave this part out). According to the Mayan belief there is great turmoil at the end of each age or the birth of the new age.  (OK they got that part right there is a lot of turmoil now).   Think of it as each age as a new president, we had the age of Nixon, the age of Ford, the age of Carter, the age of Reagan, the age of Bush the elder, the age of Clinton, and the age of Bush the W.  The world didn’t end at the end of the age (no matter how bad the president was).

  5. Y2K wasn't a myth, it was a scare, some computer programmers tried to shortcut their work and instead of writing in a year as 19?? only used the last two digits, as many people commonly do.  There was fear that then the year 2000 came up, the computers wouldn't recognize 00 as a year and malfunction.

John Titor was a name used on several message boards by someone claiming to be a time traveler, but many of the things he said would happen didn't.  Of course, people who believe say that he changed the future by traveling back in time, but there has been no evidence of it being real, and people on the internet can say whatever they want, make whatever claims they want, as we see here everyday.

I have no idea what you mean by movies and music that don't exist.

I have only heard of batboy in the Weekly World News (a supermarket tabloid), hardly a reputable source.

Isaac Newton was an incredibly brilliant man, that doesn't make him psychic.  Some letter that was supposed to be written by him (I haven't really done enough research on it) says that he predicted the world would end in 2060, but that isn't really something you can calculate, especially from such a long time ago.  Chaos theory would invalidate such a calculation.

  6. you have one h**l of a list there that you say you don't believe in, why should i waste my time explaining all of them when you do believe in the greatest flaw of all- heaven in its entirety
