I'm a former patient of shriners Hospital and thanks to them I have full use of my left hand. I would love to hear your story. Has there kindness ever made you want to be part of the medical field, like it has me?

  1. I have a sister that was born without a left hand. She is also a former patient of Shriner's Hospital. They got her two different kinds of protestic arms to use so that she would be able to adapt to her disability. One was a arm with a hook on it and the other resembled a real arm. She was able to do so much when she got and learned how to use them.

  2. My daughter is 100% handicappped, the Shriners provided, at no cost to us, 100% of her dental care. She had to be knocked out as she could not or would not let anyone work on her, the fact that they covered the cost was hugh as we were not rich and had other kids to take care of.
