Salaah is a type of Du'aa.

There are two types of Du'aa:

1) Du'aa al -Ibaadah: which is like the Salaah, ritual prayer

2) Du'aa al- Masalah: which is a supplication

Surah = chapter [Qur'aan has 114 surah, 113 of them starting with bismillahir rahmaanir raheem]

Juz = part [Qur'aan has 30 juz]

kalimah linguistically means word.

sometimes some Muslims use the word to denote testimony of faith/kalimatush shahaadah, and other similar meanings.. i.e. kalimatut Tayyib.
